The aim of EnCompass is simple: to improve the range of teaching and learning strategies offered to students. Once the student audit has been completed and departments have mapped some of their schemes of work onto Task Frames, the important work can begin. By identifying which type of tasks suit which group of students, staff can consider how to develop more effective and appropriate activities. By sharing best practice amongst and across departments, the workload is minimised and impact maximised.|
As part of the full EnCompass package, AST shares as many ideas for development from different schools and subject areas as possible. Throughout the training process and the delivery of EnCompass, AST offers practical suggestions and links to working materials.
